My OC, Arx, flying up above some purply clouds. C:I've never drawn a good picture of Arx, so I really wanted this one to count.
I've never been good at "bat" dragon wings (I prefer feathers) so I've definitely been practicing in that area. I decided to look up some dragons online, as well as some pictures of bats to get the hang of them.
Arx is copyright to me/design based from my good friend, Chloe. < 3
"Guilt" is copyright to me.

It's good, and the detail is excellent. Many people will forget the shadow on the clouds; you did not. ..I usually like to see some form of scaling on these creatures, but I must admit she looks fine without it.
I do see some spots where I would have shaded slighlty or not at all[her wings look so very thick..] , but that is me, and this is your drawing; an' beautiful one at that.
What funny twist of fate and coincidence it is that we both share a name.

I tried adding some detailed scales, but they did not like the shading for this. I find that if I really want to colour a dragon, scales are a definite no. When I ink things though-- scales away! xD
I see exactly what you mean there-- I think maybe trying a translucent thing may have been better, too.
I'll keep up my practicing and see how that goes, though. :3

Arx means stronghold, if I remember correctly (or something along those lines) and then "et rex" is and king. C:
