Gamma-Wings caught my Kiriban, the 200.000th pageview.
This is her character Korsho the Blue Cockatoo, his right wing is prosthetic.
The coloured outlines took me longer than I thought they would.I hope you will like it.

I'm glad you made this for my good friend. The colors are very nice. The pose is as well, though he looks more like a song bird than a cockatoo/raptor cross. The eye colors are nice and so are the highlights on his chest.

I'm happy with how the colours turned out there. I sometimes have problems to shade blue stuff, I don't know I just work better with warm tones.

Ich finds sehr schick geworden, die Flügelprotese hat etwas von Leonardo da Vinci und Fänge und Kopf sind dir auch echt klasse gelungen. Der Umhang passt auch gut mit ins Bild, auch wenn ich vorne nicht gerade so eine Schleife gemacht hätte. ^^

Especially the feathery wing was a nice training for drawing bird wings in general, I drew the prosthetic one more like the one from a Dragon. I always thought that these are easier to draw than bird wings.
Maybe it's just because I draw Dragon wings so often.

Drawing feathery wings is fun. Oddly enough I find them easier than dragon wings, probably because they don't have fingers. I've been sketching a lot of birds lately so there's been quite a bit of wing drawing lol! But I agree, it's probably cos you draw dragons more.

I like that he looks so fluffy yet kestrel-like in a sense, as it makes him look quite cute. Though at the same time those talons warn you to not hug him. Hmm he looks quite happy about something, or rather, he looks triumphant. Perhaps he killed some long sought after enemy, so he decided to celebrate. So, I do like that his expression is pleased. Not something you see often actually. I rather like how you handled his wings, too. His left wing looks nice, as I like how you drew the primaries. And I also like how you drew his right wing, as it looks quite realistic; and you certainly paid attention to the details in order to make it seem truly mechanical. Also, I like the shading. ^^

I made him pretty fluffy there. I used different colours to shade the blue and white parts, I think that worked well.
I thought such a "here I come"- pose would be the right one for him.
