0v0...Two pictures in two days? I must be crazy or something X3Anyway, here's a "daily drawing" of Rikaio. Quite a fly jay, if I do say so. Looks he's about to take off or something ^v^ That means those would be flying goggles, an essential piece of equipment for the fast flying bird!
I mostly just wanted to see how Rikaio would look in the line art style I've been doing recently. What do you guys think?

Yeah, I noticed it too. The breast feathers need adjustment. It kinda makes it look like his spine is out of place.

For sure. The breast featers were a bit of a pain to line up right (an apparently they still need to be X3). Is it sort of in the way the point of the black feathers don't quite match the outline of the grey?

Nothing wrong with colours and outlines. You just need to move them higher up on his breast.

I'm actually going to try and edit this one post-final. One of the things that'll sell this style to me is how easy it will be to edit once I've collapsed the drawing down to one layer...the lineless ones I've done are much more forgiving in this sense.

Interesting shift in style. Very dynamic pose and nice stance. Rikaio definitely looks ready for action. Solid line work, but you still managed a good feathery feel to it. ^V^
The breast feathers are hanging a little low. If the wings were spread, it wouldn't look quite as off, but as far as adjustments, that's really all to pick on.
I have the feeling the involvement of more line work will help with your characters' facial expressions. It'll be most interesting to see how you develop with this style ^V^.
