Description ...in the hopes that the tempatures will stay above freezing for just a little while longer.

Sadly, this will be the last of my outdoor flower photographs until next year. I'll miss the bugs as well.

'narrow' DOF produce nice accents and atmosphere. i can only agree with 'melancholic' and add 'warm' to description of this photo.

Sue this is so perfect and so beautiful and so YOU!!! what a wonderful way to capture an ending to a gorgeous season and then welcome the next. I know you'll miss your bugs and flowers but I would consider this photo a triumph over the things that are left behind until next year. I don't even like flower photos most of the time, you know how I am, but this is special. Very very awesome!

Thanks! This is one of those rare photographs of my own that I really like. Eventually it's going to be on one of my walls. I like it so much because, like you said, it's me! I think it really relates to how I am....the daisy wishing and hoping against the odds and doing something that maybe isn't in it's nature to do. That's really why this one is special to me. I'm glad you like it!

I have to agree with D. get a print account! the prints are very good quality (I have a couple of Stitchie's) and your stuff is so beautiful... I want some for me! (especially with the project I know you are going to be creating.... now that stuff's going to be freakin' awesome!)

this picture... so delicate and touching. hopeful and melancholy. I adore it. reminds me that I love flowers. reminds me of your gentle nature, your kinship with all things small and innocent, your love for the natural. it exudes your personality. it is just beautiful.

I know how you would know if it were manipulated because your manipulations are extremely real..........and I bet having a superb eye for such things would make it easy for you to point out a manipulation posing as 'the real thing'. see...you didn't have to spill any secrets. heehee

Your revealed my secret No but for real your are right, you read my mind I have to say i seen alot photographs that claim to be "the real thing" that are def fake/manipulated. I could point them out, but if i see it won't comment on them or attac the artist The only image i could not piont out are those pics that only had a color scale change ps i have no secrets well no secrets of my work hehehe

I feel the same way...I wouldn't attack an artist or comment to disprove what they've done. There's so much of that here already as far as arguing and nit picking and attacking go. I just keep things to myself and go about my merry way. Sometimes I get hyper over things....but it passes soon. I like my little DA nest.

are you serious? you think I moved it that way? some people might be inclined to lie but i for one am not. that's what makes this photo so special to me and made me even want to submit it in the first place. otherwise, it's just another shot of a daisy. been there, done that.
