it's done!! I really hope you like it I had a loooot of fun drawing this, it was... magical xD especially her cute little rump lolz! c:< I've really wanted to make you another drawing for a while now, a proper one ^-^ because I think you're awesome! and I feel lucky to be your friend <333 thank youso if you guys are wondering who this Michael guy might be and have a look at my friends wonderful art work click here I would very much appreciate it if you guys did that

I wasn't much in a commenting mood recently, but I must assure you I've seen all of your newest artworks even thought I haven't commented to them.. Now I am making up for it.. but I don't want to spam more than once comment, so I'll put it up here all together if you don't mind.
Vanilla ice cream pleases Luna
Oh, boy, she sure is very fat... but if she does love an ice cream... I am just worried if she is still able to pull of a low orbit and travel to the moon, not even starting about her carriage and guards not being able to pull her off. Exercising is a must, cardio at best.

Holy what are that sheeps doing... oh, dirty pony mind, doesn't she know little baby sheeps are carried by stork? She is rotten from movies for adults and that kind of stuff I presume.
Love colors, soft shading and lineart... really, I don't know how you do that lineart, it seems to be sketchy, but in some kind of an order, so.. few questions:
Are you using multiple layers for shading? And are you shading using multiply or overlay and darker colour?
Your lineart is made in Sketchup, and coloring done in PS, if so, what layer settings are you using for lines? normal or another? They are very dark and i like it, maybe it is just a normal settings with true black?
Last question, are you blurring parts of an image with blur tool or something else?

Yay, your cute baby ponies are back, poor spike... he is blushing so much he could be sold as a strawberry... But being with Rarity isn't always easy.. hell, it never was.
Good job here.
and finally this piece... I can't help but I look more on these candles than on certain pony part (I mean eye of course, you pervert!!). I believe it's luminosity layer mode with that light? I've been experimenting with luminosity and under certain conditions it can end very well, like here... I don't know why you blurred these papers, but I recon it was for suggesting motion which server it's purpose I guess.

O.O I appreciate your feedback a LOT as always it's very kinda of you and it cheers me up every time I read through them but... you don't have to comment on every single one of them don't get me wrong... I love hearing from you, but you shouldn't feel bad for not commenting!!! I'm sorry if I made you feel pressured to do so that's not how I want it to be you are free to comment whenever you feel like, and I will not get angry, disappointed or anything like that if you're not commenting!! don't worry!! xD
I use the same steps as I have shown previously in that step by step drawing ^-^ the only thing I'm changing is my tool settings to make them a little more comfortable to use, nothing fancy just standard brushes c: for the motion and out of focus stuff I just use the smudge tool lol, no I actually used a layer called glow in this piece (a special layer in sketchbook pro and coral painter) this drawing is 100% made in sketchbook pro btw, which I normally don't do, but I finally figured out how to customise my brushes in that program lolz! xD

I could upload some sketches I am doing on daily basis, why not, but it's not that much better than my old "stuff".

cool! I'd love to see what you're working on ^-^ better or worse does it really matter? I think sharing your art is just fun and it helps you connect with new people c: pluss the art that you consider ''not so good'' might be a masterpiece in someone elses eyes and who knows, that drawing might inspire someone to pick up the pencil and make some art ^-^
I've heard a lot of good stuff about SAI, but never tried it myself c: I'm glad you found a drawing software you feel comfortable with, that's really important in my opinion ^-^ I think I'm actually gonna leave photoshop as well now, at least for a while, sketchbook pro has a more dynamic feel to it imo c:

Yea, I really liked Photoshop when I started, but I realised later it's not that great, especially for starter like me - I was confused with brush settings, tools and there wasn't any smoothing for lineart and I can't draw very smooth lines without it yet - it's pretty hard.
And then I've seen some speedpaints using SAI and I gave it a shot and voila - much better than Photoshop and I was happy using it... Even the practice drawings are made in SAI.

exactly, i think it's photoshop's brush engine that's making it so aweful to draw with compared to other softwares like sai and sketchbook. but still use photoshop for adjusting my colors, contrast and such c:
