Нитки - хлопок, иногда - хлопок с вискозой, и то, и другое - Семеновская Фабрика. Сейчас название не вспомню, но там такие округлые клубочки с не очень крученой нитью (там их просто уйма - Ивушки, Ирины, Лили), туда же - Ромашка, Роза, Пеликан, какие-то маленькие бобинки. В общем, хб пряжу набирала там. Если шерсть, то брала, в основном, "Люкс" Троицкой фабрики, по-моему идеальное сочетание состава (чистая шерсть)-толщины-цветов и, конечно, цены. Как сейчас, правда, не знаю, но перебирала старые запасы - прямо залюбовалась.

Техника называется "ткачество на дощечках", в нете масса материалов по ней разного характера и направленности, рассказывать своими словами сложно и, в общем-то, бессмысленно, лучше поискать. А сделано с тоннами терпения и времени)

Thanks. At this moment ther is no any bands for sale(because of hard study), but this summer I'm going to make a shop on Etsy and do lots of new things.

In the Net there is a lot's of pattern-libraries, and, as I see, you are from USA - so, you have no any problem with special books(unlike Russia, for example).
In a weaving I'm still the same novice like you.
