Description
In the immortal words of Katara: "If everyone's doing it, I guess it's okay..."The next Avatar. Unfortunately for her, my "Aang is Awesome" feelings are currently forming an alliance with the "Originals are Always Superior" side in my head, but she's going to be awesome, I'm sure. And here's some art...along with Aang. He's my excuse for a background.
I didn't use a lot of reference for this one; the basic model of Korra was all, really. The pose, expression, and giant Aang head were all freehand. Therefore, you have all the artistic flaws. HEY, I had to do SOMETHING.
Oh, and I worked on giving her a left-handed part to the hair, because Katara's discovery that Aang was left-handed in a past life made me think that it would be awesome if she was a lefty.

I bet Aang is going to be an awesome spirit guide to Korra, and I'm fairly positive Korra's going to be a great Avatar. I love your interpretation of the both of them

One thing that will be interesting about her is the fact that she will probably have a lot less trouble with the Avatar State itself--if, indeed, it comes into play at all. Unlike Aang, she doesn't have a berserk button the size of a small nation. Or four small nations...and it's not a "probably," there's no way that she's going to be as easily provoked as Aang.

I know we've been going on about Tenzin and Korra, but, I wanna see some Maiko babehs! And some little TheToph suckers rolling around in the mud. Or heck, even some Smellershot babes (Which brings to mind, whatever happened to them? Last we saw, they were in Lake Laogai with Jet's Corpse. Hohoho, how the wheels turn... A Unisex Kyoshi Warriors sect is sure to appear. I have no doubts on that...
But in regards to the picture, like was already said, the arm (particularly the hand) seems a bit too small compared to the rest of her body.

Loads of trivia points for remembering the left-handed mention. Her wrist looks a little too slim, proportionately, but this is awesome!

"Remembering"? Well, actually, besides the fact that it was a popular little thing to gleefully point out in discussions amongst Kataangers ("The first thing Katara went and looked up in the library was details on past Avatars!"), I had actually just watched the episode earlier. XD So don't give me TOO much credit for that.
Buuuuut, left-handed would still be awesome. Apparently they wanted to make Tiana left-handed in The Princess and the Frog, but I checked and she uses her right hand rather often...she DOES have a few left-handed points, though, so she might be ambidextrous. Still, the point is that you don't get left-handed characters that often. I know Mai is using chopsticks with her left hand in "The Beach" (again, shippy stuff...and Mai in a swimsuit...), but I think she...wait a second.

Well, in "Return to Omashu" she pulls the triple-bladed knife out with her right hand, but then prepares to throw it with her left...she's cleaning the makeup off of her face with her left hand in "The Guru"...but she uses her right hand a lot, too, mainly for knife-throwing. Maybe she's ambidextrous. Or maybe she has a Mustang-ish fighting style, using her right and left hands for different types of attacks (STILL one of my favorite parts of FMA, by the way...).
Of course, if you pay attention, I'm sure that many characters use their left hands for certain tasks.
And, yeah, the wrist always bugs me...I might have to fix that.

I can't wait. It looks fantastic, and its made by Bryke, so its gonna be great. I also hope that Spirit Aang appears as his 12 year old self. That would be awesome. And hopefully we get to see the other Gaang.

I thought the spirits were all the same color... or did you mean on-hand. Way to go swan-swan! Coming up with your own poses. The left forearm could do with a little more foreshortening, but that's really it.
