It's very cool, but pound for pound electric cars are waaaaaaay worse for the enviroment then gas or diesel...

that's why hydrogen is the way to go....

the worse thing about electric cars are the batteries. the rest all depends on how you generate the electricity to charge them.

Depends on how you produce the electricity
But I like the idea

Yeah but if you do it right. Its good for the environment and you can have a ton of fun, not the mention you look cool. You don't look cool driving those ugly ones.

A lot of people say driving muscle cars are bad. But some people only drive them very little. So it don't matter really. lol

Haha. I don't know. I don't own one! I probably never will!

Yeah for sure I guess the muscle cars are (especially here in germany) driven very little, so they really don't matter. More important are the daily driven cars.
I just don't like it, when people say, that for example cars like the Toyota Prius are very good for environment. When you consider it's production and the fact, that it just has it's advantages in cities, you'll see that it's not better than many other modern cars.

Nevertheless: I really like the Tesla and I guess it's a great car if you want to have fun

Yeah its true. A long time ago some took a normal carburetor car and made it get like 80 mile to the gallon. But the government didn't like it because it took money away. This is the damn problem! People don't understand what we are doing the Mother Earth, we are killing it! Stuff has to be changed now or we are all screwed.

There is this like Electric Dun buggy that hauls ass too and that can go like 250 miles before it needs to be recharged and its made for off roading, now that would be fun too!

At last year car show there was normal V8 trucks running on water and your talking about 50-70 miles to the gallon and didn't even effect the horse power and those trucks even did burn outs! I have some videos of water powered trucks smoking their tires. Its awesome! It still sounds like a monster V8 truck with the nice duel exhaust sound but its running on water not gas! Go figure right?

Holy crap, I typed a lot.

Wow the last thing sounds interesting! 50-70 Miles would be a dream vor a V8 I guess
A great example for a efficent car was the Audi A2 1,2 TDI. It just needed 2,99 Liters Diesel per 100km. But the problem was it was built to early. Today it would have been a car which would have succes. But back in the early 2000s it was a too strange concept I guess. And yeah..it might not be the fastest car (and not the most beautiful ), but at least it was a good step forward to very fuel efficent cars! Today BMW is good in this topic. Our 1 series needs about 5 to 6 liters on 100 km and it's still a fast car.

Hydrogen must be produced first...and it takes electricity It's just a difficult topic. But maybe none we have to discuss here
