Vista Port of Muin VS-Visual Style (32 or 64bit)
Updated June 3, '09:
-Thinner window borders
-New start menu shutdown (thanks to =jg-visuals for the find)
-Went back to the more XP style
-Changed fonts to Avant Garde
-And more (honestly, I can't remember)
Not designed for use with details pane (bottom shell). Turn off by opening an explorer window, select Organize in the upper left, from the drop down list select Layout, then click on Details Pane.

If you like, also give a fave to the original.
HELP: If the Start Button does not display correctly when you first apply the style, log off, then log back on. Also, make sure you use 96dpi.

Love the theme, it's a good minimalistic, black theme with some nice shape in the gloss effect. I was hoping to find a port to Windows 7 though.

This theme simply rocks. It's my favorite one so far.
Is there any way I can get the same toolbar as yours? I mean the arrows/organize/views icons etc.
I read your comment on that and I got the Auriel browserui to work, but I like this one better.

This is a great theme! I love this theme. Is there anyway to make it display in Aero without the weird looking oversized buttons?
It seems to dislike displaying properly in my Start menu as well - any ways to fix this?

No, the way the captions are set only allow for use in Basic mode. I've tried to work around, but Aero's buttons are unforgiving

Ok nevermind...I uninstalled the new SP and it STILL wouldn't work. It was working great before I installed the SP2. Do you know what could be the problem? the theme just shows up as Windows Standard theme.

The reason why I ask is:
I am looking at this post [link] from your April port and like the font and the fact that there is no line between the Address bar and Quick access menu (Organize, Views, System Properties etc). I don't seem to find a way to download that anymore.
BTW, how did you apply the Tango icon set? I used Tango Patcher from ~vertigosity, but it didn't make it look like what you have. Any help is much appreciated.

i cant get the explorer bar to look like that.
is still showing that stock vista "back/forward" button. how do i fix that.????

The file for that is the browseui.dll that comes with my Auriel port.
You have to replace your system browseui.dll with it to change the explorer buttons. If not done right, it can make your system unbootable. If you need instructions on how I do it, note me.

holy nucking futs..., i've been looking for ways to convert the original msstyle to vista style all over the place and none of the method worked for me, i decided to give up, but i came up with the idea of just typing muin in the deviant search and *bam*, i hit the golden jackpot.

After i installed this vs my personalization menu in control panel suddenly changed its language to spanish, but everything else remained in english... this is so weird, i'm trying to get i back to english but there seems nothing i can do... do you know what might have caused the problem?

It's a basic only style. Whatever program you are using to apply styles, tell it is basic only. Or switch to vista basic then apply the style.
