Sweeney leaned against the window as the rain poured down on London. He was deep in thought, as he usually was, but this time over the nightmares rolling over and over in his mind. Bedlam, Carlisle, murder..... Lucy. It had been what seemed like forever since he had thought of her, and the haunted memories made him jump when he heard the chime of the shop door opening.

"Sweeney.... Sweetheart?" Rose spoke in almost a whisper as she walked to her beloved. Her expression worried when she heard no reply, putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Its haunting me again, Rose." He spoke after a painfully long silence, ".... My past."

Rose gently took his hands gently, turning to look into his eyes. "You know I am here for you. Forever and always. Whenever you want to talk. I'm here."

The barber smiled faintly, looking into the eyes of his most precious flower. He held her hands gently, knowing that there was truth in every word she spoke and feeling those dreaded thoughts fade as he looked at her. "You are perfect," he whispered, "My beloved wife."

Woo! I finally got this piece done! It took me a couple days since this pose was a little difficult and the coloring took forever T-T I honestly like the flat colored version of this better. I may re-shade it because I honestly dislike how the coloring came out. I may just update it with the flat color version and touch this one up. Honestly, it's mainly Sweeney's face that is bugging me, everything else looks fine, I think??? I dunno.
Well, I asked my friend to write a snippet for this one if she wanted to. I hope you like the itty bitty stories I put under these??? I hope so.
I hope you all like it, too. I worked hard on it. It was so hard to get those hands right! Hands are the death of me when it comes to drawing... ugh. Enjoy Sweeney x Rose!!!
