I had the urge to draw these two lately, so I needed to...kind of a bizarre idea but I went with it. xDI overdid the clouds though (if they even resemble actual clouds..), oh well.
I think these two are really cute together tbh.
characters and My Little Pony belong to Hasbro, I own nothing.

Soarin': Uh? Who.... Oh yeah! Rainbow Dash.... I think? What are you doing here.... and with my pie?
RD: *big grin* Your pie, huh? Well, if you want your precious pie.... *moving the pie up and down with the rod, Soarin' following its movements with his eyes*
Soarin': Yeah? Yeah?
RD: You better.... *standing up, opening her wings* CATCH ME FIRST! *she left the place in a flap of a wing*
Soarin': Ahhhhhh! RAINBOW DASH!!!! *he began chasing her in the blink of a eye* GIVE ME MY PIE!!!!
RD: Hehehehe....

Actually, I just love that a few people are even typing up these scenarios of what happens once Soarin' wakes up to pie... I really need to draw out a follow-up comic some time soon..

One of very few popular ships that have some sort of canon basis.
In fanfics though, Soarin gets shipped with others quite often. In Earth and Sky, Soarin gets shipped with AJ from a pretty awkward start: Soarin gets fired from the Wonderbolts for getting sloppy, RD convinces AJ to give him a room while Soarin sorts his things out, Soarin gets depressed about how things aren't working out too well and AJ kicks him while he's down for looking like he's giving up.

That makes sense, seeing as common belief is that Rainbow Dash can't bake. She could have had AJ teach her how to make one by herself so it would be extra special. Either way, it's a very cute picture; you did a great job.
Lol, I think a funny follow up for this would be Soarin' dangling from the line while Rainbow Dash struggles to reel him in.
