Woah the skin... A long story A little too long to explain in a comment, but I used 4 separate layers, started from the clearest color to the darkest. I imagined the light coming from the right top, and shaded the skin considering that I used the blur tool a lot, to make it look softer. Actually I colored this one as if it were a realistic picture I tend to mix both realistic techniques and anime ones (for the hair and eyes for instance)

I have to write a tutorial one day; but there are so many talented artists who have already made one

Woah don't be so impatient or I'll get nervous I need to draw a decent picture first, and if it is popular enough I'll make a tutorial out of it But for now I don't master the techniques well enough ;___;
