Description I really liked the other side of this, so I wanted to upload it when I realized my favorite pic didn't show the right side.

I went to one of the last days of the CT Ren Faire in fantasy makeup for their 'Halloween Knights'. My hair was teased up ala lion, but by this point, I'd combed it out. (Windy day, lotsa mess.) With my dress, cloak, and my subtle lion necklace *cough*, I was all set.

(Btw- this side was inspired by another makeup I saw done on DA- not a direct copy, but inspired by. I can't seem to find it now, so apologies for not linking the credit! Once I find it, it'll be up.)

Fun fact- this is the makeup after it's been worn for appx 9 hrs.

Time: Twoish Frasiers.
Medium: Wolfe Brothers black & metallic gold

How do you share this wonderful artwork ? By posting it here ? Or do you wear it to parties or out shopping ?

There are only a few- like, 5, images from my gallery that I've worn outside for a party or a festival/etc. Almost ALL of my images I paint, take pictures of- and then wash off as soon as I check the pics to make sure I got what I wanted. They're artwork only.

I'm taking my time looking at your gallery so I don't know if you do many of your friends but it seems like that would be fun too . A different canvas if you will . Or maybe you do this as a profession and just want to have fun working on yourself as a change . I guess it could be disconcerting having people stare though . I've come to get an idea what the busty ladies put up with because I like to wear vintage hats and having people stare at the top of your head when you talk to them is a bit weird .

It would be fun to paint more folks. Unfortunately, though I have a number of people who have offered to sit for me, when the muse strikes me, they're usually busy/unable or unwilling to come. I have to PLAN time with them- and... can't always guarantee that I'll be in the mood/abilities to paint at that time.

But *shrug* ah, so it is.

Noooooo! I was at the CT Ren Fair on the very last day! I would have loved to see you and gush about your make-up, since I'm a huge fan of yours! >.< (I used your bruise tutorial for a costume last year- worked perfectly!)
Great job as always, though. I love the patterns under the eyes, and might take inspiration from those for my halloween costume... *eyes facepaint*

o_O OOoh, I have a fan?! That's so exciting! Too bad we didn't have a chance to bump into one another- I would have been so insanely amazed to have someone who's familiar with my DA see me in real life.

I'm so glad the bruise tutorial worked well for you last year! I'm trying to plan another tutorial in time for Halloween, but there's already so much out there that I'm wondering what you contribute.

I can see why you wanted to upload the 2 pictures - the first one showed really clearly your leopard print (which this one kinda hides) but I think I prefer the eye in this one over the other one And that is amazing, how long your makeup stayed flawless for I'm sure you can spot like a million imperfections or tiny smudges, but to me it looks like it was just freshly put on just before you took the picture

I agree- the under-eye patterns in this one were my favorite, although as always I do lurve my non symmetrical nonsense.

Haha, true- I can see a few points on this where it's smudged up by the hairline and the neck, but all in all I LOVE how good Wolfe Brothers is at duration wear. It sticks gooood.

They clearly make it with psychic superglue. It never comes off until it knows you WANT it to, then it makes a big mess of your sink because it's awkward like that. It's the really rebellious bits that smudge, too. And yes, it is 1am for me and I should be getting to sleep soon. 9am lectures... hooray >>

'Psychic syperglue'. I like that. Very apt. It does have some impressive longevity- and I've never had a problem wiping it off.

I have a very gross colored towel that I use to clean up, though- no matter how many times it's been washed, it still is this lovely melange of... ick. XD

Doesn't it just take you back to the plasticine days? 5 minutes with that and it had turned a horrible grey-brown colour. But I suppose that's the price of unique art <3

I don't think I've ever encountered plasticine. Oh, but it sounds loooovely to work with. XD

You never had plasticine when you were younger? It was AMAZING, and non-toxic for the hungry stupid small child. I wouldn't say you could do art with it, but it did have an unenviable tendency to all get mixed together to make a sort of murky dusty brown colour.

I always thought it was just a matter of time before I ate some Play-doh. Always smelled so taaaasty.
