Juno Perez is a Filipino girl who was born with aether magic to a magic-less family. Her life is good and happy but rebellious. Orphaned at the young age, Juno ended up in the care of her maternal uncle, Mr. Brydon, her aunt Jessie, and became friends with her cousin, Katherine "Kitty." All in all, Juno became friends with the people in her uncle's conservation and rescue center. Mowgli was the one who found her and that is when she first met her new friends, Shanti, Ranjan and Dulia, who all have elemental magic respectively; earth, water, air and fire. Upon discovering that she is the bearer of the fifth element, she was confused at first until she finally understands her destiny as the leading guardian, which is evident because of the symbol embedded on her necklace, which is kept as a family heirloom by her paternal family. To know about the things that are going to happen in the future, she looks at the stars and interpret them to see what is going to happen through astrology or other forms of divination. She permanently lives in the jungle as a guardian and a leading elementalist with her friends as she joins them in training and preparing themselves for new things to come. Even though she lacks formal training in leadership, she is able to become a very powerful leader in her own way.
