First off the color of Dr. Gero's skin... I'm sorry. I had to draw over the old color and it made his skin WAY darker. Then it smudged on the white areas, so I had to go get some white out...THEN the white out smudged all over! It turned out horrible. :C

My thought is that in the Manga 16 was the only completly robotic Android, so that means 19 had to originate from a human. Hell, in the Anime he was brought back with the others from Hell in the GT series! That's got to mean something! So, I think 19 could have been dr. Gero's apprentice or fellow scientist in the Red Ribbon Army.

"Me..."
"Hm?"
"Doctor...Please allow me to be the 19th."
"What? I will not allow such a thing!"
"Please! I have no family and my life is dedicated to the Red Ribbon Army. I wish to do this!"
"...You and I are the last scientists..."
"If you turn me into an android I will remove your brain and place it in an android body. I will be able to do the operation, and it would my honor to serve along side you against Goku."
"...Are you certain?"
"I will fight along side you ever step of the way, Dr. Gero. I will be much more efficent and loyal unlike 17 and 18."
"Fine, Shiro. You win. You've always been my favorite colleague"
"Thank you, sir. That means...so much to me."
