How to colour or ink your work in Flash? I have no idea & have found no good tutorials either

I've never written a tutorial, but you got me thinkin' about it now. Yup, I could talk about how I go about it inking.
I used to outline everything with the pencil tool mainly, because the place I was working at didn't care for the brush look. They liked the Klasky/Csupo look with the thin outlines.
It's only in the past couple years that I started getting comfy with the paint brush tool. Of course if you ever have a specific question about rendering in Flash, I most likely will have an answer.

Well you seem to be really effective with Flash-I opened it up the other day & had no idea what to do with it! I could find no good tutorial either- so I think it would be ace if you did one
Do you ink any of yr work the traditional way? I've found alot of Flash work can look sort of dead-with little life behind it. But honestly, yours are excellent & full of so much life.

It's been about six years or so since I first opened Flash and when I did back then I didn't know how to get it to do what I wanted either. All the little tricks and stunts I know I picked up at work and through experimentation.
My Flash process is not exactly quick, because I tend to tighten things down more than the average bear... I think.
It's been a very long time since I've done traditional inking. I used to do my inking with technical pens which were pretty stiff.

Yeah, I like stuff to be nice a clean most of the time, sometimes I say screw it though.
Unless the sharpie work on my couple of cel paintings counts as traditional ink, then no, I don't have any in my gallery.
I haven't been real eager to put up old stuff.
