I hate still life paintings, because they're boring and dull, but I like this piece. You did a good job on it!
The texture of the petals really give the piece depth and cause the viewer to focus on the flowers as the darker hues of the pot, table and background fade away. You've done well in controlling the viewer's eyes and directed them where you wanted to take them. kudos to you.

When I said "background", I was in referencing the dark bottom-rigth corner of the piece.

Great! I love how those flowers "pop" off of the canvas. I also like how there is a nice depth to this piece. The background hues and the forground hues and shapes make it seem to have a lot of depth.
