Description (EN) Better photoes of this creature .

In the ancient times first people worshiped the Nature. The Nature had big teeth to eat animals and humans who was terminally ill, mortally wounded or too old to live in gladness. The Nature had the Sun to give the warmth and light to all living things. The Nature had the Rain to water plants and to smooth the heat...

(If you close your eyes and touch these totem's chains with little bells you'll hear water drops pattering on the leaves)

On Camomile's back you can see historical event. One day representatives of the superior race came to the Earth and gave basic package of knowledge to Shamans so that they can teach everyone in their tribes. But It seems that Shamans were too sly and greedy, they had understood simple rule: "The Knowledge is the Power" and told nobody about what they've got from Superiors...

So now we have what we have...

You are welcome ! What material is it made of ? As for me I mainly work in wood or clay....but I'm always looking for interesting maybe new materials

It's air-dry clay (painted with acrylics after drying). This material is very convinient for me to sculpt with it but there are two minuses: it's afraid of water and it's very fragile. I want to work with natural clay so that some creatures could be used while tea ceremony but I don't have any place to burn it( also I wanna try myself in woodburning one day ^^

Yes, it's quite hard to find some cool sculpting-material which has the desirable properties. I've also tried a lot of stuff, but never really found the "right" one. Once I made a woodsculptor education...therewhile I also got known to a lot of other materials of course. Well...I love wood, but it's really such a stubborn and difficult material. Would be cool to finally find some sculpt material, which makes quick and spontaneously work possible in a way I would like

yeah, I cannot even imagine how much of patience you have to work with wood. One error - and you have to start from the beginning.. I love to play with forms and details, change it, delete what I don't like and add new pieces... that's why such static and strict materials like stone, bone or wood are not for me, I become insane when something goes wrong and there are no ways to correct it. Maybe if I had at least any art education I would understand it better, but I finished mathematical faculty and after that had to go working so I didn't have time to take some art courses But I still believe I'll do it in future)) I wish you good luck in your searches for right material, maybe you will invent something new!

Well...it was not a course...it was a several year education....so stuff like that is (more or less ) part of my occupation .
And the "trick" in working with wood is: You simply sculpt a model out of clay BEFORE, which will be the reference for the woodwork (here an example - the only work I've submitted together with it's model so far: fav.me/d6mx08s) . So than you can do the woodwork via measure on the clay model.
Sorry...I'm afraid my english is not very good .
I also which you the best !
