I drew the outline in my sketchbook in June.I'm so lazy, it's not even funny. xD
This was drawn, scanned and outlined with base colors before my last submission. I just... did not feel like shading or anything! But I've managed to finish it WAY LAST MINUTE before my vacation to Disney World!
This is Sonar the HedgeFox, the way I will normally draw her. Not Sonic version. This is just me. I didn't have any good ones of just her in her whole outfit. So it's a good reference! I didn't know if I wanted the pink background or if I wanted to just make it invisable... but I guess I could change that later if I wanted. I just don't care right now! xD
I hope you like her and she belongs to me!! No stealing, cause.... that would just be mean and rude. :/

This is just plain awesome. Like I may have said before, her design is probably the best I've seen for a female character. I also saw your status on facebook referencing this pic. Who cares if you didn't draw a nose, like really what does it matter. I feel that it adds something more original to the pic now. She also seems like her own character without it instead of a Sonic character. All in all, I really like this pic and I'm glad you got around to finishing it. It really paid off because it looks so well. As for the background I'm glad that you used a lighter shade of pink, a blank gray background could have worked better too. But either way the background really doesn't matter.

I didn't want her to have a typical anthro snout. Or even a little animal, button nose. I've never given her paws or animal-like legs. While she lacks animal features, she also lacks human ones. Why? I don't know. That's how I continue to draw her. That's just how she looks, you can't ask someone why they draw the way they do. Sometimes she has 4 fingers, sometimes 5. Sometimes she has eyebrows, sometimes she doesn't. Whenever I drew people, which I never do anymore... their noses were dots. I guess I stopped caring at one point and left it out. Just because this isn't an extremely detailed, realistic picture doesn't mean it's garbage. I was happy with myself for finishing it. I've seen my own improvement. Am I the best? No. I'd never claim to be. I know where I stand. Which is why I refuse to let anyone affect me and I'm going to continue drawing however I want. Because it's my art.

What is your deal with her character just because she doesn't have a nose. It's the way she intended to draw her. Do you have a nose fetish or something?

Everything is wrong with this character (furry, the legs very tiny, the tentacle hair, etc...), but the lack of nose just makes it worse.
And lol no, having an style is not an excuse to make mistakes like this.
