Description
It's been far too long since I've drawn Winx (since I did Perrie and Jade actually!) and to get into the swing a little more I decided to enter into FeeEnchantresse 's Collab/Contest: [COLLAB] Meet Heaven .

Charlene:: Honest | Curious | Friendly | Energetic | Sensitive | Open-Minded | Loyal | Loving

The first thing you will learn of Charlene is that she is very honest and friendly, while not much of a talker unless it's about a subject/person she knows Charlene is very open about herself, of her flaws and her strengths and of her past. She's not ashamed to bring up and admit to mistakes, tell funny embarrassing stories or recall sad memories all of which she still feels the emotion for and it shows, Charlene is a very emotional individual; she can cry happily, yell excitedly or calmly fight with the fury of a thousand warriors while it can make her seem wild and unpredictable on the outside it can also make her a great friend to have or equally someone you don't want to have as an enemy.

In addition to her good nature Charlene is also very open-minded which can be a good and a bad thing. She has no trouble with breaking rules and defying authority though it doesn't give her a rush of adrenaline but she will break the law when she feels as if it's in her best interest to do so and has no guilt about doing it. She's a huge believer in "I give respect to those who deserve it" and doesn't follow society's views on respecting your elders, to Charlene everyone starts at a neutral place and depending on their interactions with her will determine how she will view and respect them. Being open-minded also means Charlene is a great listener, she can comprehend both sides of a story and still give non-biased advice and thoughts on the situation, unless of course you broke her friends heart then she may take it personally.

Charlene is a very loyal and loving girl, she cares deeply for her friends and family and does her best to make sure they're the happiest they can be each and everyday, even to those she doesn't know Charlene likes to help and brighten up someone's day knowing that simple actions like holding a door, helping with bags or even just smilng can make someone feel instantly better.

Story::
"I'M SO SORRY!" Charlene cried with embarassment into her hands, the deep red blush blooming on her cheeks reaching up to her ears and down to her scaly tail. Of all the things to do while meeting your friend's older extremely handsome Brother, turning into a fish was not on the agenda!

Nirvana even spent hours with me picking out the perfect outfit to make a good first impression, Charlene you complete clutz! Peeking up nervously through her fingertips Charlene's teal eyes locked with Heaven's sea-blue gaze, softly smiling down at her seemingly not to worried about having to drag a mermaid up the beach nor at being a little damp with salt water. "I'm still a little new to having toes and knees, I should have known the ocean would have a sense of humor today of all days!"

"You're a natural mermaid?" Heaven hummed in surprise leaning back underneath the parasol, propping up a knee as he did looking down to Charlene as she smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

"I'm a seaweed Mermaid, we preserve the aquatic flora and fauna in oceans all across the dimensions. We're not as glamourous as our glitzy cousins from Andros but we have our uses," Charlene giggled softly pointing down to her rather bland looking seaweed top and sash, recalling how when she was a little girl she once met the undersea Queen of Andros, Ligea, immediately she had felt jealous of the Queen's natural shimmer and sparkle, it had taken her Mother hours to console the little girl and it wasn't until she was much older did she come to accept and realize that seaweed also had it's own kind of beauty. It made her and her pod unique in their own way, as it wasn't common for merfolk to wear seaweed.

"Fascinating," Heaven smiled breathlessly, turning to face his torso to Charlene resting an arm atop his knee as he gazed at her form, despite her accusations of being a less glamourous mermaid he did see how her tail shimmered slightly underneath the sun. "If you naurally have a tail how do you get legs?"

"With this," Charlene looked down and held a little golden seashell in the palm of her hand, hung around her neck with a necklace of pearls. "It's enchanted to give me human legs while I'm on land, if I stay dry of course!"

Delving deep into conversation, speaking of their families, duties, the beauty of their homeworlds, the complexity of Magix and how without Nirvana they both would have gotten lost within the cities labyrinth of buildings and paths the duo entered into their own little world, without meaning to forgetting about the sweet Crystal Fairy on her quest to find Ice-Cream who had set the meeting up in the first place. Charlene was going to have to answer to a lot of questions at dinner tonight.
