The wait to get on 's commission list was so worth it. I am thrilled and practically bursting at the seams to present this piece to you.
I was so ecstatic about securing a spot on Sakimichan's wait list, you have no idea. I almost missed out! I'd already added so many commissioners for my OC's on my list, that I decided I wasn't going to have one done by Sakimichan. My thanks goes to my friend *KyoukiSumeragi for encouraging me not to give up. She assured me that it was absolutely worth the wait and the money. Thank you again! ^_^

This beautiful painting is of my favorite OC, Suiren sur Bashere Sedai, Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She is the primary character of my Wheel of Time/Bleach fan-fiction, The Color of Trust .
Since I've seen one or two people inquire, yes, the name Suiren means 'water lily', which is also known as a lotus.
While I love so many aspects of this painting (her eyes! her lips!!
), I think my favorite piece is the a'dam around her throat. It's difficult to translate a ter'angreal from a description to a visual piece of art, but I think Sakimichan totally nailed it!

That she is! I do love this piece, though I wish she'd finished it. Back then I was so intimidated by her I was too afraid to say "Uhh, you think you could, I don't know....finish?"

They definitely unnerve me. You would expect any hired artist to do the job asked of them completely, to make their customer happy, but the more renown they are, the likely they are to "remember" such things, like finishing the work and adding the watermark like the customer asked. oRZ
Because of her "forgetting" the watermark, I've had to deal with entirely too many people stealing this piece, because she uploaded the full size piece, with downloads and unwatermarked. The exact same product I got. So basically, I spent money to let everyone else use the image. 
Sorry....ranting Yuya. As beautiful as this piece is, it's definitely become a bone of contention with me.

Yes, they have some kind of unnerving aura surrounding them....
I feel that a hired artist must get the job done, no matter the circumstance.
But forgetting to put a watermark and enabling the download option for a commission is quite unforgivable, since your paying the artist to draw for YOU, not other ppl.. (And that u paid more ><") At least now she puts the watermark there...

I agree, completely! When I commission someone, I strive to be as professional as possible. It is a business transaction, after all. I expect the same of the artists.
Yeah, at least it's on there now, but I can't count how many times I've had Photobucket remove the full size image. I'd like to know where people are still getting it from, because it certainly isn't from either of us now.

Yeah, I heard of lots of art thieves on Photobucket! And the one you encountered was like the worst!!! He even claimed the picture to be his!!! ><

No squad at all, currently being guarded herself by Byakuya, Jushiro and Shunsui. Technically a ryoka but she wouldn't have ever come to the Seireitei had she not been forced to. Her first-sister (adopted sister) Alindrah is still in Hueco Mundo, where Suiren was supposed to have been taken had Byakuya not managed to retrieve her from her kidnappers.
