I just saw the new movie TRUE GRIT (2010), and thought it was an excellent movie. It many ways I think it is superior to the version starring John Wayne. So I had to make a wallpaper for it.For this one I found three images of the films main stars: Jeff Bridges (Rooster Cogburn), Matt Damon (La Boeuf), and Hailee Steinfeld (Mattie Ross). I then used the Carving option on my Photoshop Elements 8 to give it a look like an old engraving. I especially liked the aura that formed around the three characters. I then finished it off with the film's logo.

UPDATE: I tweaked the sucker by giving is a border to make it look even more like an old wood carving. ENJOY!

I was impressed that Damon gave such a good performance. I would have liked to have seen his reaction when he found out he had to play the second half of the movie like his tongue was nearly bitten off.
