Description A picture of a Dwemer general commanding his automated legions from a safe place. Actually it's just  a way to present the design of an Ancient Dwemer Armour that will be found in Skywind.

Hi there!
I am the Editor in Chief of a new Elder Scrolls literary publication and I was wondering if I might get your permission to use this wonderful piece with one of the articles in our first issue? If you'd like to look at what else we do, we're at telmoraindependent.net ! Thank you for your time!

Sure, go ahead Some credit would be very much appreciated, and it would be best if it included a note that it was made for the Skywind project.

great work
the super polished brass color is awesome looking and i like the weird hodgepodge of Persian, Macedonian, and greek designs going on in his helm design
always loved the way dwemer beards looked
so cool they gave their helmets beards too!

Thanks Probably will end up being Dumac's own armour, with the mask being his own likeness. Most Dwemer armours in Skywind we agreed to represent approach of not being made by Dwemer, but made by Dunmer from parts of Centurions.

yeah that makes more sense
in the games i always figured dwarven armor was just scrounged from broken bots based on the morrowind look, and melted down and made from dwemer metals based on skyrim and oblivion
but none actually being true dwemer armor, on account of there being no mass destruction mechanical gizmos clanking about on the suits
would be cool to see some actual dwemer armor in a future game tho
theres a skyrim mod for a dwemer exosuit that looks great with pistons and moving parts and sparking engines and all that classic dwemer mech stuff

but keep up the great work on skywind
the whole tes community is blown away by the scope of what yall are doing
even us console gamers watch all the info on it, even tho we're pissed we dont get to play it

I like it a lot! If I may make a suggestion, it would be nice to have a helm variant that would be more robot-like, without an actual face, like in the original Morrowind. I very much liked that the Dwemer armor made you look like a sort of centurion, and I really view it as a major change in the culture. The Dwemer of Resdayn/Morrowind stopped to pay much attention to the etchings and designs, to make something more functional, less personal, reflecting their worship of clockwork logic. I somewhat headcanon that helms just like this one (you totally painted what I imagined!!) existed for VIP and high-ranking officers, but I imagine those would be rare and found deep in citadels.

You have actually just described our approach to Dwemer armour We will have two variants, one ornate for generals as you can see here, and one made from pieces of centurions, as you can see here: centificgrafics.deviantart.com…

The ornate one will be hidden deep within the biggest citadels, it's defensive value will almost rival that of the Ebony, yet it will be a bit lighter.

I'm almost positive that the Mesopotamian look is strictly set in the Dwemer of Morrowind. The Dwemer ruins in Hammerfell, High Rock, and Skyrim tend to all be slightly different.
