-will probably be scrapped later, but I'd like it to have it's share of gallerytime because dammit, I LOVE it.-

It's been a while since I've felt inspired. The commissions and trades I've been doing were a lot of fun and helped me improve a great deal, don't get me wrong, but deadlines and assignments stress me out (coupled with college about to start) and I guess I just hit another dry spell. I felt really drained and crappy and like.. not drawing.

But now that all my stuff is more or less out of the way I took some time out to return to my much-loved favourite subjects - it occurred to me it's been an extremely long time since I've drawn a sighthound proper. And now that I've finished about two pages' worth I feel refreshed and happy and ready to start again.

I had a lot of fun with these because I was basically doodling away whatever came into my head. And I love how each and every one came out (except maybe the suspended one with the screwy legs).. Particularly the 'three sizes' xD Was trying to show with the headshots that they're not as similar as people think. IGs in particular look very refined and classy. Greys are more rangy and have proportionally smaller heads and longer bodies, and longer muzzles than whipps and IGs. Whipps are very slightly more stocky due to their terrier heritage, though of course the sighthound lines in them run dominant.

Aaanyways. Hope you like these as much as I do.. may end up colouring some of them. Gotta love art therapy. Particularly if it comes in the form of sighthounds :3
