Reminds me of the Turbo Aires Wagon YouTube user "Davidsfarm" built back in the day. I believe he used an old Shelby Charger engine and plopped it in there with a turbo and wastegate - all homemade. Hit a certain RPM while doing about 20 or 30, the turbo kicks on, and instant wheelspin and it takes off. Shame you can't see youtube still.

There's an epic video of a turbo K-Car smoking a MK IV Supra on a dragstrip. Probably the same one (as turbos were never offered in the Aries or Reliant).

Look up "K-Car versus Supra" on YouTube. Hopefully the video's still there. I don't think it's the same car now that I've seen the pic, but I honestly can't remember the color/body style (I think it was a sedan?) of the one I saw.
