If the hieroglyphics seem a bit off to anybody out there: I'm not sure myself and took them from a tomb inscription. So it should be correct... if this hasn't been an ancient typo.

Anyways... lo and behold Nechbet, guardien of the pharaoh and (patron?) goddess of upper egypt in her protective pose.

I chose a griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) since these are the ones closest to the old depictions and actually live in north africa. Theres a whole plethora of similar looking vultures that are south of the saharah.

There're a lot of mistakes in those ornaments...but i'm still satisfied how she turned out.
