The Show-off

We decided to seat ourselves under cover during a visit to Ness Gardens near Chester as it decided to pour on us. Almost as a consolation prize, this robin turned up and started posing for us! It was totally showing off and kept it up for about 10 minutes.

This was the best shot - most blurred badly due to having to shoot at a stupidly slow shutter speed (it was in shade and I didn't want to scare it off with flash). I was holding my breath trying to get this at 1/20th of a second handheld!
