The Act II side of the set, backstage action revealed. The set is on an eccentric pivot, and ends up further downstage on this side, creating a cramped backstage. Cheesy red velour drapes opened to show the brick backstage walls, leading to the dressing rooms and to the auditorium. The play itself is now performed upstage, slightly visible through the window below and open doors. Brick walls are an off-brand vacu-form at bargain prices, with added texture. Note the short prop table, to deal with the rough sightline inherent with a thrust stage and front-row seats that are so low.
