Description Model photo for Bohemia, in Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale." This was a theoretical project in my grad school class. See a Winter's Tale 1 for the contrasting setting for the kingdom of Sicilia. This was inspired by Russian fairy tale art by Ivan Bilibin, and also the vibrance of Russian lacquer boxes.

WHat did you color it with? It looks wonderful and crisp...

This is fantastic! I'm doing a theoretical design for "Spamalot" and I'm looking at doing something similar to this based on Terry Gilliam's cut-out animations. This is a great example for me to think over!

Again with the minimalism, stunning detail and color, but abstract, I love it! This definitely screams Bohemia.

Thanks! It was inspired by Ivan Bilibin (even borrowed!) He was a legendary Russian folk artist.

two days and one person...but I think Ivan Bilibin, the Russian artist, as well. I wonder the demand this show might have on a paint shop if we were to actually do it...
