Description FIRST Mandelbulb 3D render!!! So I have been playing with this program for the past week or so, and I just sat down and came up with this in about a half hour or so. This one was one that came out good enough for me to share I think. It's just one formula, Amazing Box Platinum.

A very nice starter picture, indeed
You are right, it's not that difficult to start with M3D, but be aware - it's not that easy to stop it again

Haha, I see in your gallery
Anyway. Finally I guess it's most important to keep creative. With whichever tool. - Have fun!

Well done, friend I'm the other way around, I struggle a lot more with M3D

I used to look at Mandelbulb 3D as nothing more than child's play, and that's clearly not the case! While it is pretty easy to create cool things, it's an amazingly complex and deep program! I am still stunned at how responsive and fast it is, even running under Wine on Linux! And thank you very much!

Yeah, it runs a lot better under Wine than I expected it to

Excellent job for the first render! It reminds me of a giant solar power harvesting complex.

Thanks a lot man! It's very cool playing with this program, and it's honestly much easier to understand than the dreaded triangle variations of 2D fractal programs!

This is quite good for a first! And you know already how the DoF works

Thanks, Sabine! The DoF was an easy one actually, and it is uber simple to use. I am kind of a DoF nut too though!

Yes, DoF is simple and the savior of many a fractal gone astray
