"I'll... I'm gonna destroy them all. They'll be beggin for their puny gods when I'm through with them!" His crimson burned with naïve determination. "They won't ever mess with us again, I swear d'at."

The apprentice sighed slightly, there was a time for determination, and coping with it with ignorance was a dangerous couple. "Just, think, before you leap." Haiaka spoke, knowing there was not changing the cub's mind on his hatred at the Hunters, and his desire to take them down. Haiaka himself cared more about getting everyone back over taking the hunters down, that was a lost cause. The Empires came together once to try and take hunters down, and that was a vain trial. It was the Great War, as some of the older felines said. Haiaka couldn't help but feel too familiar with the stories he had heard. Almost like he was there. "Did... did you have the--" his head glanced around for a moment, finding the ginger root, "eat that please, it might take bleczh though..." he guessed, his expression giving the impression he couldn't judge for himself either.

"Huh?" Zaatar's determined gaze drifted towards the forgot root. Oh yeah he was supposed to eat this, right. He remembered the last time he gotten into Lamia's herbs. It...Did not end well to say the least. Not at all. Apprehensive at the herb he poked it with hesitance to ingest it. Granted last time he helped himself and suffered the consequences for it. Besides no herb could bring down the great Zaatar!
The taste was strong, completely taking over Zaatar's senses. It was almost...hot? He did not know the word to describe this sort of taste. Ironic, as his own name originated from a spice. One that held a red hue just as his pelt did.

Haiaka couldn't hide a smirk from Zaatar's face, and instinctively spoke up, "Careful... Icarus..." his tone was deeper than he normally spoke, "with that spice and that wool ye will fly to the sun..." he stopped... something clicked. Leaving a smirk on his face, "ye can drink some rain if ye like."

Swallowing down the last of the ginger, Zaatar shot the male a questioning look. "Ica-r-us?" The name foreign to him. Haiaka's warning going right over his head. Romans had such weird names... Water sounded nice, but first he needed to quench his thirst in another way. "Who the heck is Icarus?"

The apprentice shrugged, "Some dead idiot with wax wings." he then pointed at the rain, "get wet."
