Pteranadon is one of my favorite dinosaurs. A friend of mine work told me that this animal didn't really fly it glide in the sky since it had no feathers.

U should make your pterosaurs fuzzier
is that possible in those 3D modelling programs like Zbrush?

I do agree that it should be fluffy, if you were going for scientific accuracy. I do realize that 3D fur can be hard to get to look right, though. Anyways, it doesn't really matter too much, this is a very well-detailed, amazing model. Nice texture as well. By the way, when you pose these critters do you just sculpt them into a different pose, or does it have an armature for animation?

Sometimes I use ZBrush-posing and sometimes - rig.
As for the fur I answered it above.

As I know Pteranodon's hair were not discovered, so I'm free to place the fur as I want. In this variant I placed it only on his neck.

Oh, but we can infer Pteranodon was fully covered by hair. After all, it was an endothermic flying animal with wing membranes and an air sac system, both meaning it would loose a lot of body heat without hair on the body at least (many recent finds show that pterosaurs had hair on their wings, but I suppose pterodactyloids presumably lacked it).

Для такой мелкой детализации, наверно, нужно тетоническое терпение, но птерадон живей живых)
