Beautiful! Definitely my favorite. This is one of the best ones you've done by a long shot. Smooth look, clean and elegant. The shadow is more accurate, also, although all of them still could use dynamic lighting.

First off, the colors work very well together, and the eyes and line art are nicely detailed. Your placement of shadows and highlights could use work, specifically in regard to where the light source is coming from. You flesh the piece out well, but the shadows on the crown of the head and the chrysalis silk look 'streaky' and severe when shown in contrast with the highlights. If you tapered the ends of the lines of shadow and possibly went with a warmer tone for highlighting the wraps, I think it would go a long way towards realism. Other than that, it's a nice piece.

Now this gives me a new view of Kakuna. I never thought it could be that creepy. Your realistic style really gives you the feeling that there's something big and dangerous growing inside. The whole image looks very convincing with the wrinkles and sharp edges you used. It's really nice!
