Giftart for !I drew this after another night of not being able to sleep (lol this insomnia is making for productive drawing) after reading in `RainCookie's comic "+The Best Summer EVER+ " that she couldn’t study abroad in Korea like she wanted to!
So I tried a knack at drawing her OC, Cori, in Korea to make up for it! :> Lol she has a red backpack to represent.. studying abroad. >.>;; i'm creative
LOL, sorry that I kind of failed though. E.g. it looks like the house has Christmas lights instead of Korean roofing. And I'm not sure how representative my choice in landscape is of Korea T_T.. although you can blame Google for the reference I used. >__>;;
I overall fail at scenery/backgrounds in general, so it initially seemed like an outlandish idea for me to make a drawing that was mostly scenery, but my cause seemed worth it and .. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. dagnabit D:< Soo combo gift/practice = yayayay!
And for concerned members, this obviously doesn't count for the club's Summer Raffle Event ! It would be preposterous if I won the event that I'm hosting. >__>;;; Although anyone that's a member/interested in being a member of #Raincookie-club is definitely welcome to join the event. *WINK WINK* ..

And NO, your background, sceneary is beautiful! I love how you designed Raincookie, she looks so cute~ And I lovee the blurry soft background, it's lovely!

I thought it'd be silly to draw her in her traditional winter gear since it was supposed to be for summertime, so I converted Cori's scarf design to a long-sleeve tee.

Hahaha, it's cute and clever! I love the design, I thought I recognized that shirt somehow! Even the little red backpack is neat, goining along with the design!

Lol, that's honestly what I thought too when I was Googling pictures of Korea, and in most of the results, there was a lot of similarities with Chinese landscapes. They shared a lot of similar landscapes in all the potential references that I found. But eventually I went, "Oh whelps, I guess this one looks good!" and settled on drawing this one.
