Description
This was done a while back...almost one year now. Never the less, it is one of my favorites from last year. This was to practice my rendering skills, test to see exactly what i can do with graphite...@_@ so i guess its not really "my" paine, but yea..I do not claim the pose or anything, this was drawn out of the FF Art Collection Book. I did not trace however...absolutely against tracing o_O
haha anyways, i think i came pretty close ^_^

Ooh, well my friend bought the FFX2 art books, so it's concept art from that, but i've seen it around on the internet as well. I'm sure you could find it very easily google it :>

while i share your feelings about tracing, learning by reproducing the work of others is an ancient and beneficial tradition, and I think you got it right
good use of the graphite...with rendering you need to take into account how bold you want the outlines to be, and i think you made some good choices here.
you render really well! i'm anxious to see more of your work
