Description
I'm not a big fan of OC but after reading lots things on ancient Gaul, I couldn't resist to draw one. The gallic people were freaking HARDCORE. Especially for human sacrifice ~
About my OC, I imagine Gaul as a grumpy man, cold and bellicose. I also imagine him scaring Rome with his rituals (for exemple, the gallic people used skulls as decoration in their houses) XD
I hope you like his design

~Some informations~
All what we know about gallic people come from Julius Caesar's notes. However, gallic people were more civilized than we can imagine : They used to forge powerful weapons and they used to trade salt.
They relatively well accepted Rome's presence in Gaul, that's why I drew Chibi!France aka Roman Gaul cheerful and more "roman" than his father.
About human sacrifice : ( /! contains gore details ! /! )
For exemple, gallic people used to fill barrels with water, put a person inside, close the barrel and then, let the person drown. They also used to build giant straw dolls, put people inside and burn it.
Julius Caesar forbade human sacrifices after his trip in Gaul.
