I can totally see something! The one decked out in jewels looks kind of like a prince to me, and the warrior girl is made to protect him from something.

BAH! I'm sorry! I found her a bit androgynous looking, so I thought she was male because she was shirtless. 

Then the warrior girl could be protecting the princess. Maybe the princess is dangerous? Maybe they're sisters who've only just met?

About the "dangerous princess"...that's pretty interesting She looks wild and lordly at the same time. And the warrior girl could be her bodyguard.
But it'd be anachronistic : In my mind, the warrior girl is a templar and the little girl is a princess from the kmêhr civilisation.
But your story is more interesting !

You could show off her belly if you'd like (because that's adorable ), but I'd really suggest covering up her chest. Knowing now that she's a girl, it's kinda creepy. You can give her a variation of a belly shirt, one that would fit the rest of her outfit. 

Aww, thanks. I imagine that if they were sisters, the little girl was for some reason or another taken away or separated from her family and raised in another kingdom. Maybe not a rival kingdom though, because that might seem cliché.

It's fine, I understood you. And I agree. I'm happy writing character profiles and worldbuilding for now, but I should be careful with the latter.

Haha, I'm like you, I prefer drawing characters, imagine their personnalities rather than drawing well worked pictures with detailed background. XD
