summary: AU - None believed that the hate-filled words of a little girl could still live on after more then 200 years, but when strange events start occurring in London the city's only hope of survival lies with one mouse ... and a rat?

Ok .... this one took ... well, 30-40 minutes (though ironically the "touch-ups" were the ones that took the longest )

But still, I'll say: Vole is a cool guy to draw Thank you, *Mlle-Relda for letting me borrow him - both in the fic and the art (it's easy to see that once he enters the room, everything seems to change I mean, he simply seems to dominate the "stage" but with such a brilliant character, it's no wonder)

So, until next update, enjoy ^^

p.s. stay toned for the next chapter of Whispers in the Dark this Thursday. I promise you'll like it ^^

Not the type to rant about my own pictures ... (or am I?) but I can't help myself! I LOVE how this one turned out - and that is mostly do to those big, tired eyes I feel like snuggling Vole to death ! He's simply so downright CUTE!!!!

Yup, it's Vole all right, I recognize that cute 'Family Dog' schnoz anywhere. You captured him perfectly here, very nice work!

I love how you're so organized in your comments, keeping track of the fan art and story progress. That's a good quality to have. Me, I'm all over the place.

Thank you

And what can I say I like to be organized - usually I have a lot of stuff (books, manuals, DVDs, CDs Still having problems here not to mention all that I have on my hard-drive) so naturally, I need some form of organization - especially since I never know when I need a thing nor how fast I need that thing.

But at least I always find what I'm looking for

I like that. I'm trying to do such a thing now with both my bedroom (storing things by subject and chronological dates) and folders on the computer. It's just easier to find stuff. I'm slipping, though, on creating folders titled 'Misc' or simply 'Photos' where anything goes in them.

Unfortunately, I also have the tendency to drop a whole lot of different things into something I called "scraps" ... until I started making sub-folders for that one XD

Plus - spring cleaning (for my pc) comes at very random, very odd times XP

I just now got everything organized in folders of dA, now need to finish making more folders for the TGA Group itself. I tend to slip now and again on getting it done right away.

Really
Thank you! I'm happy you liked it

I wanted to show him a bit more "out of it" as one would show it. Show some stress on his features and all that (and I'm feeling both awfully guilty for putting him through this but also incredibly proud because - miracle - I finally put some emotion on a mouse!)

I love it!

I find it rather simple to put emotions to a character. The hard part is to make it come out JUST RIGHT.
