Description
The next sailor scout in the male Sailor Moon saga. This one is the equivalent of Ami, who's been dubbed Aime (my friend claims it's French for "like," but I wouldn't know).His arm and hand annoy me, but whatev. He was actually going to be holding water, but I got lazy half-way through and got rid of it. And his glasses are so low on his nose
(they would so fall off), I'll have to remember to draw them a bit higher up next time.Drawn with pencil and pen and colored in photoshop

I really wasn't even thinking of Harry Potter when I designed him, but now that you mention it, I can see the similarity. Isn't it sad how that happens.

I don't know if it's sad... everyone is influenced by what's around them. Anyway, I'm glad someone decided to draw the sailor senshi as guys. It'd be cool if you did a pic of Mamoru as a girl, just to top things off. That would be funny.

It's sad when there's a really obvious similarity and it's because you just got done watching a show with that character. I do see your point though. I've actually seen a few other people draw the sailor senshis as guys, but not as many as there should be. Perhaps I'll draw a girl Mamora after I'm done with the others as a joke.

Awesome! I write a lot, so I pick up a lot of influences from the TV/movies I watch, and from the books I read. I actually find it insightful to see what sort of things stick with me, and reappear in my thoughts. As long as it's not out and out copying, picking up influences can be good. Really, everything you make is just a mashed up mixed up synthesis of the information you have absorbed over the entire course of your existence. Wanna be friends?

Most of my influences come from anime and video games (and recently a lot of stories I've been reading on fictionpress). And it definitely influences writing more than anything. Although it is sad when you realize nothing you do can ever truely be original since it was inspired from something else. Sure, we can be friends. Just note I'm usually really slow when it comes to replying to anything.

It's the first in a series of stories that centers on a group of human beings that find a new planet to settle on after the Earth is destroyed by pollution. The first one is about a quest to retrieve a magical item that is stolen by a dragon.

I'm hoping it'll be done end of July/ beginning of August, and I'm gonna try to put it on Amazon for purchase. It's first run, self published, with 18 full color illustrations, so it'll be pricey, but I think it will be worth it. I'm trying to make it really high quality, a keepsake sort of a book, not a cheap paperback.

I realy like Aime too, what with him being a cute little nerdy boy. And Lunde's great because he's a cat that slaps people (how could a cat effectivly slap someone though).
