Epimeliad: In Greek mythology, the Epimeliads or Epimelides are nymphs who are protectors of apple trees. However, the word for "apple" in ancient Greek texts is also the word for "sheep". This translation gives Epimeliads as protectors of sheep and goats. Their hair was white, like apple blossoms or undyed wool.

Since there were no pictures of the Epimeliads, I took what I could from the description and came up with the green nymphs that are all over the picture.

What is happening here is Torius travelled back into the ancient times of Greece, and came upon a lone sheep up on a hill. Curious, he went to say hello, but the sheep was a little wary and the guarding Epimeliads were afraid for their sheep, and are keeping a close eye on dear little Torius.

In the background is the flock of sheep being herded about and guarded by the Epimeliads. Further behind the sheep is the town where they belong too.

And the apple tree in the front is because the Epimeliads are also protectors of apple trees.
