Description "Sir there's something in the water. Something BIG."

(Xenotype is the "official" name right now, can't think of anything better, and I didn't want to use Spawn, at least not at the moment)

Original Description: After the Krhashatha's first attack on New York, and presumed death, the military and civilians relaxed a little. But when sightings of a massive creature off the coast were reported, the military hopped back into action.

An enormous squad of submarines and destroyers were assembled, and headed the creature off. At first it was assumed it was the Krhashatha, but the military soon realized this was a different creature. Assuming it was weak, the military struck it with hundreds of torpedoes and shells, only for Jormungandr to emerge unharmed.

Using his horn, teeth, claws and tentacles, Jormungandr destroyed over half the fleet within minutes. The rest continued pumping weaponry into the beast until they finally struck a weak point. After this realization, they continued to strike the creatures weak point until it died. The creature was later revealed to be very young, and hadn't gained many of the adaptive abilities of the Krhashatha.

And it just so happened that the Krhashatha wasn't quite dead, and definitely wasn't happy about it's (at the time) only child being slain; although it wasn't quite dead itself.

The Jormungandr Xenotype is (thus far) a one-of-a-kind evolution (luckily), and the largest on record at over 600 feet in length.

As mentioned above, Jormungandr was extraordinarily powerful, capable of easily resisting fire from highly advanced battleships, destroyers and subs without damage, and was easily capable of returning the favor with massive bladed "fins", claws, tentacles, teeth and its huge bladed horn. Jormungandr was also capable of creating humongous whirlpools that would pull the armada in, either sinking them, or allowing Jormungandr easy access to them. Plus, like all Xenotypes, Jormungandr was capable of spontaneous generation of new weapons, limbs and body parts (etc.) as needed as well as a highly potent regeneration ability.

Hey bud, for some reason, I would now really like to see what would Jormungandr here would like if it didn't get badly injured like it did and instead evolved to grow bigger and scarier and evolved strong arms and legs to walk around on dry land since you did say it wasn't really dead.

It's something I'll consider for sure once I get around to the Krhashatha section of my drawings. But that won't be for a long while yet. The Jormungandr does grow a decent bit more before retreating to the Krhashatha once K begins its ascent from Earth.

There's at least two other Xenotypes I'd like to give a second go at, so I'll keep Jormungandr in mind : D
