Ever heard of a megabat? You might've heard them more commonly as fruit bats, and people generally consider them "the cute bats" because they only think of the puppy-faced flying fox or similar bats. There's way more diversity in fruit bats than that, though, including the absolute wonderful weirdo that is the hammer-headed bat. ...why's it called hammer-headed when the male looks like a hippo and the female looks more like a "typical" fruit bat? Not a clue.
