Description
The thunderbird is a legendary creature of mostly Pacific Northwest Native American cultures, but it shows up in a lot of Native American stories and history! The exact specifics on what it is and does vary by location, but it's often described as causing thunder and lightning, and sometimes as standing in opposition to the underworld or simply to particular spirits or beasts of the land or water. I definitely don't know that much, so if you know any good resources on the subject, please share them! <3
A friend of mine is a big fan of lots of layers of overlays for their lighting and I tested out something similar with this dragon! Wanted to make it look like lightning-lit clouds and I think it came out... imperfect, but cool. :3
