Description This is quite gruesome so don't read on if you're squeamish.
When I was a kid I lived next door to a lady with a Burmese cat called Tiki.
He used to go into the fields behind the house and catch and kill rabbits. Mostly he dissected them but Judy gave me this whole baby one to paint.
It was a hot summer day when I took it into college. It was a little maggotty when I'd finished.
This is the result!

Wow, that looks real from the thumbnail.

At least the poor thing didn't die for nothing.

a lil gruesome, but what else are you supposed to draw from?its a great way to practice and look how much detail you can capture in from a "live" model...especially one thats not moving! i just wanted to say that your work reminds me a lot of Beatrix Potter (im not talking about "peter rabbit" cartoony characters and all that..more her sketchbook watercolor work). check her out...lots of similiarities in your respective styles

That looks so sad But you've drawn the little rabbit well. Great coloring and nice job on the hair Still sad though

Wow, that must have been...um...fun. *cougcough* Anyway; the end result is great, though it reminds me of the time my pet rabbit died...I was little, and I cried. She as my best friend at the time.

Anyway, !!!
