Series: Samurai Deeper KyoMy first ever doujin where I used a pen tool! Go me! (w00t!)
Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the joke - it's borrowed from a Gary Larson Far Side cartoon I saw a long time ago. I just happened to be thinking about it and then realized how appropriate it was for Shinrei and Hotaru!

i know that Far Side cartoon! except the "Shinrei" is a guy and "Hotaru" is a dog...XD it so fits...
