I wanted to use my cat as I'm always talking about how his face looks super odd as his teeth often stick out and he generally just looks like he's always confused, tired, scared or some combination of all three. I have many pictures of him, so I ended up picking the one where he had a face that was the best combination of cute and confused that I feel is very good at showing the type of cat that he is. After I imported the picture of my cat, I scaled it and used the color sliders to get a more light and blue color scheme to fit with the sky vibe i was going for. I wanted to show his airheadedness by portraying him in the sky, as if he is some sort of a mythical beast like a dragon. After I came up with the idea of that, I added clouds to add a sense of scale. The clouds looked pretty weird at first as they felt too fake, but after I applied some small color adjustments, scale changes, and used the opacity slider the effect felt much more natural and better fit the sky-high vibe I was going for. The clouds were a good start, but I wanted to add more of a sense of scale to the image and also make the angle and position of the camera be more clear. I decided to play into the idea of a grand mythical beast by adding a few hot air balloons to the image, as if there are tours to see the so-called beast. These also took some minor adjustments to look right, and some slight transformations made them help sell the perspective of the image and make the image have a more mystical vibe alongside the clouds.
