Description Inspired by the chorus of the song, A Thousand Years, by Christina Perri.

I have died everyday, waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

The phrase "I have love you for a thousand years..." sounds like it was taken right from the mouth of God, leaving me with what seemed to be a call and response between two lovers, within the main chorus. Enter the reference to Song of Solomon [or Song of Songs], the inspired picture of Christ and his bride. Biblically, the number of one thousand, when referring to time, often signifies something indefinite, innumerable, or immeasurable; but also carries with it the connotation that it is of divine fullness or completeness. "He remembers His covenant forever, the word that He commanded, for a thousand generations," (Psa. 105:8)

This idea is also very reminiscent of Paul's "call and response" presented to the Romans.

Rom. 8:36-39
As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The iPhone texting is just the format I could see it likely going down in the contemporary age.

And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matt. 24:14

Again with citing a verse from the fraudulent End Times prophecies?! Are you Evangelical Christians so willing to let the planet go to shit for the rest of us just so you can meet that animal you call a God? Unbelievable. If the Bible were accurate and to be taken of it's word, (which it isn't, and it really shouldn't be because if you use the Damn Bible as a moral guide, you'd be arrested for crimes against humanity in every civilized nation on Earth) the End Times should have already taken place back when Jesus' Apostles were still alive. As it stands, each and every one of his 1st Century minions are dead now, and our boy is at least 1950 years too late so I think it's safe to say we've been stood up. He ain't comin'.

let the planet go to s**t...
should have already taken place...

What are you talking about? I have no idea about the first thing you said, but should have already taken place..? The single scripture I present hasnt even taken place. "Proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations..." It's estimated that 1.4 billion people in the world today havent been presented the gospel in any meaningful way. The restoration of Israel was prophesied over and over to happen before the end; didnt become a nation until 1948. (These things [prophecies] go on and on) Real talk, you dont have to pretend you know what you are talking about when it comes to Christianity and the Scriptures. If you dont know, you dont know. But stop saying silly things as some kind of proof or means of discreditation. God bless you richly.

Don't bless me, there is no God and he can't bless anyone. You have to  date produced no evidence of your God or his miracles.

That is such a beautiful idea! I've thought of multiple songs that are not explicitly or intentionally Christian but could fit quite well in a context of Christian worship. Thank you for sharing this!

Man is continually chasing after the qualities found only in the one true God, but look to every other source. This is often reflected in our music. Music in all its forms is effectively an act of worship. It's the inner man's expression of exaltation concerning an idea/feeling. God bless.
