A piece I created a few years back for a project in an illustration class.Didn't have an idea in mind, just went with it. Was a little frustrating, but overall an enjoyable process.

It definitely reminds me of how I was feeling a few days ago, a depression and lack of motivation to do much, broken pieces drifting off and away in directions unknown to me.
The color is perfect for the emotion behind the meaning, which to me is depression and falling apart into pieces. That's what I get out of it at least. As far as an illustration, it is the definition of illustration, I remember that class, and as I look at the illustrations in my daughter's books, its amazing how much effort is put into one page with one sentence(if that) over laying it.
