Description Kenari Sanura is a Catfolk Rogue Bast worshipper from the city of Gheldeneth in the country of Mulhorand (Egyptian lands slightly SE of Thay and W of Unther).

She left her city of Gheldeneth because of the fears that her thieving hobbies might give her the death sentence (tomb robbing is frowned upon in Egyptian cultures).

Done with pencil, pen and Prismacolor markers (and a Soft Glow filter in Photoshop)

What kind of (if any) footwear does she have?

One of my all time favorite characters, and a great rendering of her.

Awesome job on the details in her attire! I love all the little designs in the armor and in her hair. Great work.

Thanks!

I had drawn many smaller pictures of her before, but I wanted to draw a larger one so I could go more in depth on the details.

Oh what fun you can have with a good set of mechanical pencils, lol.

So cool looking!
It's hard to pull off cuteness with pointy teeth!

Thank you!

Indeed... I ended up drawing her face over a few times to get the appropriate cuteness level.

Yeah, It's tough with animal characteristics.
It's weird sometimes the distorted faces are almost more attractive.
Like the Na'vi girl from Avatar, she was really cool to look at!

I agree! It just takes a good eraser and some patience till you can get those characteristics just right... otherwise there's always something 'off' about it. Thankfully on this one I did ok, lol.

I usually draw human looking faces but it's funny, just this morning I was messing with a characters nose. It looked kinda cool a little less human, I'm gonna try more of that stuff in the future.

Wow, I can tell a lot of work went into that. Nice work, I love the details and colors. It looks like it belongs in a RPG sourcebook. ^^

So fabulous! I saw this pop up on the Planewalker FB group. Mega <3's, and I'm actually pleasantly surprised to learn this was done in marker! : D

I saw it there too. It is nice to have the story behind the character.

Thanks very much!

There's actually a touch of Photoshop since I used the Cut Paper and Soft Glow filters... but the coloring itself was done with Prismacolor Markers, yes.
