Soul: He hates himself for using his powers to hold his brother still, turning his head away as the gaster blaster charges up, he thrusts the other further into the air, giving his partner an easier time aiming at least as his face buries into Frisks’s head.
He really can’t look at this.

Dual!Frisk : They pout up at Soul, reaching up to cover his eyes hesitantly, hiding their own face against their jacket.
Soul: The moment the other’s blast met his brother he removes his grip on Papyrus to Shield the child into his chest, a protective aura enveloping Frisk– if anybody were to survive this… it should at least be you. You hadn’t done anything wrong, despite Chara being locked inside of you.
Dual didn’t deserve their first death after just waking up in this twisted timeline.
